Monday, February 28, 2005Oh babyThis weekend was a blast. I especially enjoyed Saturday, and if i haven't talked your ear off about it, here it goes.Saturday was my little cousin, Junior's, b-day, so the family and I headed down to Rialto[wheeee!!] for some party action. To my mother's expensed surprise, the party was for her too. She got her own mini-cake and everything. I sauntered around with my all my other little cousins, Marissa, Clarissa, Alyssa, Sarahlyssa. If you can't tell, yes, they are all sisters and 2 of them are twins. All quite cute. We headed into the giant spongebob jolly jump, played some hard-core dodge ball with the guys, and had quite the work out trying to jump up and down. Cake was eaten, presents were opened, and a trampoline was exposed. It took us a good hour and a half to set the trampoline up. Although, i wasn't helping much, i was in the jolly jump. You know, jumping around with you-know-who. I'd like to say that most of my night till the time i left, was spent in that jolly jump, i rarely left. Not that i'm impyling anything you dirty dirty minded people! But yes, it was fun. I'm glad my mom and dad had a good time. My dad mostly got drunk while my mother just laughed at the cross dressers. [yes, they were cross dressers] And as for my sister.. well, she tried to keep her eyes on me. Being the big sister that she is, she was concerned of my safety.. all while jotting down little reference notes in her head. I think i make her sad.. Anyways, the night ended too fast for me. But i still got my 10 cents in. w/e that cliche literally means. <33 I love Rialto So my sister left today after her daily weekend stay in Camarillo. What'd we do? Thrift shop, as usual,Laugh at the terrible movie about syphilis, and go cruising around Ventura. I need more weekends like this. i rarely have any fun since school is always my priority...okay.. so i atleast TRY to make it my priority. What can i say? Till then.... Too bad that she has to work on her b-day but we're celebrating it on Saturday. My mom likes to think that she's turning "15". But she only wishes. All that said and done... HAPPY BIRTHDAY~!Captain Meg plundered at6:22 PM | Sunday, February 20, 2005Swinging FunAnother bipolar day. Why bipolar you ask? Because the weather can't make up its mind if it wants to be sunny or rainy. It graces us with its warm and bright presence and the next minute turns on us and pisses over our parade. But Anna and i still had a fun day. ^_^ It was another Anna and Maegan type of adventure. After watching a rather amusing Korean movie and watching Anna swoon over her 23 yr old piano teacher[aka her illegal love], we faced the bipolar weather and headed towards Main Street, in Ventura. We walked around browsed the stores and what not, tried on Poppet dresses, [i want one so bad], saw some hott guys at the tattoo parlor having their own little sex-ay party of their own [which i wanted to join and thought of my sister], avoided the scary Bums and managed to make it to Starbucks. We were going to go to the beach but decided not to considering we had no signifiacant other, besides ourselves and we wouldn't make very good make-believe dates on such a romantic affair. So it was back to Camarillo. Considering it was only 7:50 and being quite early for us "older gals", we trudged our way over to the Mission Oaks Park for some swinging action. We haven't been on swings since our Las Colinas days so it was great fun and quite the work out. After our short-lived fascination with swinging, we got to talking and reminiscing about things we would like to forget but can't. And when the mood was right, it started to rain. Back into the warm car, and back home. That's where the adventure ended. It's still raining, my homework still isn't done, my room is still a mess, and i still haven't seen my so called cousin in a month!![hehe] Gar!! I hope you feel better Karen.<3 Till then.... Captain Meg plundered at1:58 AM | Monday, February 14, 2005It's been awhileIndeed, it has been awhile since i've last updated. What's been going on in the life of Maegan you ask Well....I went to a weekend this weekend. It was a close friend of the family, but we called him our Uncle. So my family grabbed their black clothing, reserved for occasions such as this, and trudged our way to Cerritos. On the way there, our car started to swerve back and forth. It turned out that we had a flat tire. Luckily there was an exit near by and we stopped at the nearest gas station. We called AAA and had to wait a good hour for then to come, and fix the busted tire. After a whole lot of confusion and frustration from the mechanic, we were on our way to Asian town.. b.k.a. Cerritos. The funeral was well, how all funerals are. Depressing and sad. It was sort of a mini-reunion for us. I saw people who i haven't seen since i was in 5th grade. Afterwards, as expected and dreaded from my side of the family, we went to a Chinese buffet. After forcing the overgreased chicken down, it was time to head home. My sister was home for the weekend. She left today, and now i am sad and utterly alone. She hadn't been home in a month. We did our normal things that we do when she comes to visit: go thrift shopping, watch movies, and do our "ah ah" laugh that we alone know what the meaing of "ah ah" means. and i finally watched Dodgeball for the first time. Funniest movie. So, Valentines Day is today. It was an alright day, considering i'm a single. I may be single, but not desperate, unlike some people who try and whore themselves out to any guy that passes their way. I just point and laugh when they so tragically get turned down and run of crying with their mascara running down the sides of their cheeks. All in all, Valentines was a good day for me. I recieved candy-grams from my bestest of friends, which means a whole lot. Today, for Valentines Day, Anna dressed all fancy-fancy because she is trying to impress her 23 yr old piano teacher from her church. She was clad in her A&F [ the racist son-of-a-bitch store] shirt, and her NY skirt. Since the "love of her life" is moving to Boston, never to be seen again, Anna bought him a going away present, and in my opinion should of been "her" instead of a jazz cd. But she was giddy was pride and excitement as the day progressed and it got closer and closer to the time that she would see her piano-playing lover. Good luck anna.. you make you laugh. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Valentines day~! Let's all remember to practice Abstinence!! <33 Till then.... Captain Meg plundered at4:01 PM | |
