The Make-Shift Vacation Post

Okay, seeing as I dont' really have the patience, or will to blog in this thing religiously, i'll just keep to bullets for this one.
  • Last week my family and I went on a mini-vacation, first we stopped in Monteray Bay
  • Walked around Cannery Row, a place with lots of stores and great restaraunts .. and frozen bananas.
  • Got alot of attention while eating the frozen bananas.
  • Visited the famous Monteray Bay Aquarium and saw all the enourmous fish behind 13 inch glass. Watched the cute little seals and listened to my mom and dad talk about how they just wanted to eat all the fish...with tomatoes.
  • Got sick from something and got herpes.. aka a cold sore/love kiss on my lip. Nothing big. hehe
  • Then we headed to San Francisco while driving up the scenic route, then we visited my cousin Andre who became our tour guide. And yes, i was afraid of the scary-hard-core homeless people sprawled about over the sidewalks, with there dirty beards, their germ infested fingernails, and their rancid breath that probably smells like dog crap wrapped in burnt hair. i guess you can say i have a homeless person phobia.. what would u call that? A homo-phobia? Heh. No. I bet there's a name for it. There's a name for everything...
  • My mom went crazy in Japan town and wished she could just buy everything while the rest of us just became stragglers.
  • Went to the Pirate store there and played with the large vat of lard and pined over everything. Sadly, i only left with a t-shirt.
  • I still want to go back to San Francisco, even though the place shocked me a bit. I want to go to Popscene.
  • Stayed with my other Aunts in Daly City and yeah, not much to say about there

And that's the jist of it. I skimped on the details, but hell, what can ya do? Who has time to read through everything?

In more current news, i finally got my license!! Took me awhile, but i got there. Now i just need a set of keys to steal from someone. For now, my sister's car will do.. but shhh! So dont' be surprised if i just happen to show up at your place randomly. I think it makes my mom sad that I have a license. To her it means that i'm finally growing up..... i am soooo far away from that. Heh. Fuck, i'm only 16. But i guess its just another major step.

I'm gonna go listen to M.I.A. now....

Till then...

Sleep your way outta your hometown

I'm back!! Where i ventured off to, i'll save for later. It'll be a massive post. Just thought i'd inform you that i am not dead and i do have all my limbs intact.

Schools over. Fuck Yea.

That's all i can really say at the moment, besides the fact that i can't remember much cuz i've been too drugged up on cough medicine and cold syrup. Too much is bad.

I can't wait to get this summer started.

It's not Ice Cream he's selling...

Did you know that there's an Ice Cream man that goes around my area? Yeah, i didn't either, until recently. It wasn't till i heard that infamous jingle that i ran to my window to see if my ears had decieved me.

The Ice cream man always used to remind me about my younger years.. and when ice cream didn't cost two friggin dollars.
Today, i heard the ice cream truck approaching my house, so i ran to my room to get two dollars. [What a rip off!! But i was hungry] So i bound out the door but to my disappointment, the stupid ice cream man was driving waaay too fast than he's supposed to and had already passed my house. Seriosuly, he was going like 35 mph. Fine! Stupid ice cream truck! Keep your over priced popsicles and bubble gum candy to your selves! I was standing in my front lawn, in my pajamas for a good 3 mintues, wondering if the truck was going to turn around... but he didn't.

I don't like ice cream anyways....

Till then....

Educating the Masses

It never ceases to amaze me how idiotic, yet intensely entertaining people on drugs can be. I'd be lying if I said i didn't know anyone how does drugs. Truth be told, practically everywhere you look, 1 out of 9 people are hard-core druggies. Atleast some of them are more discrete about it.
A few days ago, this guy that sits in front of me in my English class walks in late, and casually strolls to his desk.

Him: *in a slurred tone* Whhatt's up Meg?!?!
Me:Omg, your face is really red! what the hell were you doing?
Him: Don't you mean.. what i just took??
Me Uhh, sure. You took something? As in steal? Or as is poppin' pills?
Him: I just f*ckin took 3 Valiums like 10 minutes ago..that shit is whack! Look at my hands! They're so friggin numb...*hyena laugh*
Me: *blank stare* ....
Him: Man, i can't feel my body.. can you BELIEVE that????
Me: You're an idiot ya know that?
Him: Say what?
Me: What.*
Him: What??*

*continued for another 2 mintues.

For the remainder of class, i watched him grab imaginary objects floating in air and speak quite loudly at the most inappropriate times. To further irritate, i took my pen and drew a mock-penis on the back of his neck. He didn't even feel a thing. Supposedly it feels good when you move which explains why he was acting like an A.D.H.D kid jacked up on sugar and cocaine. It got me very confused because i thought Valium was used to make one drowsy. But i was wrong. So i did a little research on Valium b.k.a. Diazepam.

Diazepam is an anti anxiety agent.Used primarily for short-term relief of mild to moderate anxiety. It may also be used to treat symptoms of acute alcohol withdrawals, to help control epilepsy, or to relieve muscle spasms. Diazepam affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety, seizures, and muscle spasms. Diazepam is used to relieve anxiety, nervousness, and tension associated with anxiety disorders. It is also used to treat certain types of seizure disorders and muscle spasms.

Common: Clumsiness / Sleepiness.

Rare: Abdominal cramps, blurred vision, dry mouth, racing heartbeat / palpitations, shaking / slurred speech, urination problems, convulsions, hallucinations, memory loss, trouble breathing, staggering / trembling, headache or confusion.
See? We learn something new everyday. Too bad my motivation to research things comes from a very bad example. Oh well. Nonetheless, it was rather entertaining just watching him freak out. Idiotic, but funny.

Another thing that earns a " what the hell are you thinking" look would be the people that think that i'm actually Jewish. Yesterday, i wore my 'Jewish Pride' shirt that i bought at the Ventura Thrift store cuz i thought it'd be pretty funny to see an asian wearing a jewish shirt. [ If there really is such a thing as an asian jew, please let me know] Anyways, as i was walking to my 5th period, i pass these 2 girls. I hear my name so i turn around to see if they were talking to me. As soon i turn my head they ask.. "hey! Girl in the Jewish Torrah Temple Shirt!! Do you know *some name i dont' know*. We're meeting tonight." I simply look at them, then at my shirt, turn around, and keep on walking.

So yeah , those have been my last few days. Approximately 6 more days to go till school is over!! And i'm giddy like a Britney Spears losing her virginity.

T i l l t h e n....

****okay. so there IS such a thing as an Asian jew. Silly me....who's the fool now maegan?!?!??

Feel the vapor pressure drop...

I think its about time to update , dont' you think? So yes, if you haven't noticed, I've changed my layout yet again. I like this one better. Took me long enough.

So the countdown has begun... what am i talking about? The countdown began like 1 month ago. But these last few days count. I only have precisely 9 days left of my junior year. And it couldn't be any longer. It's that time where everyone is scrambling around to get their yearbooks signed by everyone so they can go home and pretend that their not anti-social. At this point and time, i dont' feel like thinking, i don't feel like taking any of these stupid finals, i dont' feel like doing anything at all.. i think i have what you people call..Senioritis. But a very mild case of it. Its a very common, reaccuring disease that seems to flare up during the last few weeks of school. It is heard to be very contagious and highly untreatable.

Speaking of diseases and such. The Sis had to go to the UCSD hospital for assurance that she was not going to die. Not for a massive tumor, or a concussion, butt for profuse bleeding. Need i say more? Now she has to take some antibiotic stuff. Its actually kinda funny when you think about it. But i wont' go into detail.. i'll let her tell you herself.

So yeah, that's about it. Oh yeah and Happy Birthday Karen~!

Till then....

Like Nails on Chalkboard

Oh my buddah, i have SAT's tomorrow/today [depends on when you read this] but i'm having some weird, uneccesary nervous breakdown. Yes, indeed, i am a virgin to the SAT tests, and by tomorrow, they're going to officially rape me in the ass.. that is.. unless i let them. Ugh, just another reason why i'm dreading to take them is because its just another major step in my life that brings me closer to being an 'adult'. Which also brings me closer to becoming a Senior, which i dont' mind. but then that means change. And change.... i'm not so good with. Only with certain aspects of my life. I'm prolly taking way out of hand.. but oh well.

I've been working on a new layout, so that's why i haven't been updating as frequently as i'd like. I'll do a brief overview of my past week next time. but right now, i've gotta catch some ZzzZZs. Wish me luck? Let's aim for... hmm.. 2400??? No, let's be realistic,i'm aiming for ATLEAST 1600 but 1800 would be just fine for me.
