Down and Out

Ahh yes. I almost had almost forgotten about my precious Blogspot. Well here's what been going on:

  • Finals are done and over with. Overall i did rather well. [i think], atleast i'm satisfied with my grades.
  • To celebrate the ending of finals, the crew and I went to Olive Garden for lunch and then a little window shopping at the PV Mall.
  • Spent some quality time with Jessica, Karen, Alex and Anna at Jessica's house. There was some steamy Hot Tub action going on.. but not the type you're thinking about. No... But i think it made us closer. Got some things out that i needed to say, and i'm even more greatful to have them as friends. <3
  • My classes got switched. Nothing new. All the same teachers, just different periods. No more "Curly Curly Hair Boy" in my Art class. That makes me sad. He will me missed, by me, and only me, because i am the only one that knows him by that name. [Sshh] My best buddy Karen is in my Math class now. At least 1st period is a little more bearable with a teacher who talks about himself in 3rd person. What a prick.
  • It was recently my dad's 53rd birthday and my Uncle's b-day as well. Both of them, young at heart. And coincidentally it was also Elijah Wood's b-day. [Mmm, sexy hobbit]
  • Got some new couches for the house, so now our house is sexy.

And that's basically the wrap up. The Sis is coming up to visit in 2 weeks. I can't wait.

Till then...

Borderline

And no, i dont' mean the club in Westlake,I mean the state of mind that i'm in.

It's finals week so i probably won't have enough time to update this thing for awhile. [sad, i know.] I'm not stressing as much as i did last year about finals. My classes are fairly easy. No complaints. The only thing good about finals is that it signals that I'm done with half of my Junior year, so that means i only have 2 more quarters to go till i'm a Senior, and then 2 more semesters till i graduate!! But alas, that's still a long way to go, and plenty of things to learn. oh my. Writing this makes me sad cuz 1) I shoud be studying and 2) That means i'm getting old. Well, not really. But that means more "grown up things".

Okay, back to studying. Wish me luck yes?

Till then....

Cheap Enhancements

As Anna and I were strolling along the 99 cent store, I came across the most fascinating drink. It was called "Love Juice". And what is this "Love Juice" you ask? Its a sexual performance enhancer, guarenteed to get things started. I was rather tempted to open a bottle up and see if this so called Love Juice actually did what it said it did. I showed Anna the bottle and she proceeded to laugh and slap her knee. I was going to buy the Love Juice, solely for the name Love Juice. But i figured i didn't need any sexual performance enhancers. It's a skill learned with time. Heh.[Not that i would know of course] I put the bottle back down and walked away. Other, more desperate people might need it more than i do. So i just bought Sour Straws with Anna and went home. The ENd.

Phantom of the Opera

Yesterday, to mix things up a little, Amy, Laura, and I went to the movies to see Phantom of the Opera. [ And i was reminded why i hate going to the movies, on Fridays, late at night]

The three of us all met at Amy's castle, oh excuse me, her house. Her house is HUGE, no joke. [Compensation perhaps? No, she's just rich] Okay, so I'll just cut to the part where we end up at the movies. The good thing about going to the movies with Amy, is that she can pass as a 4 year old and get in for the Children's price. Onto the movie review..

The movie itself was an interesting one. Since i loved how Moulin Rouge was a musical, i knew I'd like Phantom of the Opera. I've always wanted to see it on Broadway, but i never got the chance. So seeing it in movie form was the next best thing. The music, dancing, singing was beautiful. Laura and I agreed that if the Phantom just kept his mask on all the time, we'd let him ravage us. [oops, did i let that slip?] It must be something about men in masks.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It makes me want to burst into song at any given moment. So don't look at me funny and furrow your brow if i hear music coming from an unknown place and see me bust a Celine Dion.
When we came out of the theaters. The whole place was swarming raging hormones.[aka middle schoolers] , reminding me how much i prefer to go to Century City 16 in Ventura when i watch movies!

Did i mention that i saw the trailer for Kingdom of Heaven too?? Oh boy. I was giggling like a drunk school girl trying to impress a guy. What can i say? Mention Orlando Bloom in my presence and i'm sure to turn into a typical teeny bopper. It's my weakness. and since i'm on the subject i might as well mention that it was his birthday on the 13th and he's now 28 years old. heheheh.

Okay i'm done.

Fab 4?

It's my new favorite thing! Queer Eye for the Straight Girl.
It's the greatest thing..
No really.
It is.
They have[and i quote this] "Hunky Helpers". Damn!! The requirements for that job must be: tall, have an 8-pack, the love of glistening in the sun without a shirt on, oh and being great at helping would be a great addition. heh.
But i still have <3>
Anyways, as you can see. I twanged the layout. And according to my sister, i guess i'm a little obessed with them now. A little? I meant alot. They Work me up so sexual. heh.
That's all, nothing important. Thank you for letting me waste your time.
Till then...

Duck and Cover

This morning as i was doing my daily ritual of getting ready for school, the news so graciously told me of the tornado warning in Ventura. I giggled then as the reporter proceeded to tell the entirety of Ventura County to get into their basements if they see any sign of a tornado. I put down my brush and thought. Tornado?? Basements?? What basements? We live in California. Let me say that again... California. You know, where the OC , Laguna Beach and all the other wanna-be 90210 shows are based. We're not supposed to have tornados. We have no use for basements. But then again, Mr. Nature is unstable so i guess we could have a "Day After Tomorrow" sort of epic on our hands. Other than that, it was just a typical day, oh and the rain.

That's it. Have a good day. <3

I don't have a New Year's Resolution

I guess i can spare a few moments and update.

So what'd you do over Christmas break?

Since everyone has been asking me this question, i have taken it upon me to finally answer in full, instead of my usual half-ass reply of , "oh not much".

As you are so well aware of, i spent the first week at my sister's apartment down in SanDiego, where i contracted some sort of coughing disease which had some dulling side effects such as phlem. I guess swimming in that frigid water [ during winter i might add] , didnt' help my case.

Christmas Day arrived so my sister and I headed up towards Irvine to meet up with the rest of our family. The whole day seemed out of place considering that we usually open all the presents on Christmas Eve, but the day was fun, nonetheless. There was drama of course [which i cannot speak of, or else i'll be cut from the loop]. The day was even better when my uncle [and all of his little foster kiddies] arrived. Seriously, because of that, our family is a racial Melting Pot. My day was brightened because i got to spend time with Rick*. [And i guess everyone knows about that already, so no need to get into that]
So presents were opened, food was eaten, plenty of alcohol was consumed, gossip was spread, and i got my present that i wanted. [Ssshhh]

New Years was spent at my house, but only with my immediate family, like always. We have our own little traditions when the clock strikes 12. All the lights must be on, you have to carry coins with you, and you must be intoxicated. Okay, so that last one isn't true, but that'd be funny. But we did open a bottle of champaigne. And that is the jist of how my vacation was spent. All the in between time was either spent sleeping, watching movies, or shopping.
Speaking of movies, I recently watched Life Aquatic with Bill Murray and Owen Wilson. Awesome movie. I'd like to see it again.

And to my dear sister, please come back soon. It is very lonely here again. Now you have no one to point out how naive you are about your surroundings.[ K-mart, Coffee Bean] Heh. See you soon yes?

Well that's it. This is all i can bare to write for today. And in truth, i dont' have a New Year's resolution because i suck.

Happy 2005

Till then....
