The Beginning of the End

The Day has finally arrived. The first day of my Senior year. I never thought it would come, and actually, I really wish it wouldn't. I'm quite speechless actually. You spend your Elementary and Middle School days hoping for the end of it. For me, I like to think of it as a game, a Nintendo one. Duck Hunt perhaps? I'm the duck, and school is the person trying to shoot me, literally. Eh, okay, so that analysis isn't that accurate, but I do like the game Duck Hunt.

I thought I was going to spend my last summer day relaxing and mind washing myself with pointless hours of television and internet, but instead, I had to go to San Diego for a record breaking time of 4 hours. Helping my sister clean her apartment is no fun at all. But someone had to do it, since her roomate practically left the place looking like a shit hole.

Anyways, I think i shall save my careless titters for later.I don't know what this year is going to be like, but when I get there, I'll be sure to tell you about it.

Till then...

Peeling Away

Recently I:

  • Received a bundle of lovely postcards from the lovely Anna Oh , and grabbed a box a tissues to stifle my snuffling.
  • Began to peel excessive amounts of skin from my shoulders due to my previous Sun burn. Yeah. I actually burned. It's a first. But the peeling i can do without.
  • Started to re-read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which, by the way, comes out in theaters in November!!
  • Played Tennis with my aunt for the first time in awhile. I turned different shades of red before the day was done. Then I ate and destroyed the whole purpose of why i went and played tennis in the first place.
  • Bought more obessive merchandise and now I proudly have a Lord of the Rings poster hanging on my wall.
  • Got bit in several places all over my body by god knows what and it itches like hell.
  • Listened to my sister vent about how angry she is about the condition of her apartment and how she has to clean it alone before she moves into her new apartment.
  • Sat around the house, watched Pirates of the Caribbean and enjoyed the time I have left till school starts.

Might as well start more countdowns:

Days Till School: 6 days
Elizabethtown: 50 days
Kingdom of Heaven on DVD: 47 days
HP and the Goblet of Fire: 86 days
King Kong: Christmas 2005

Shamu,Smores and 1.21 Gigawatts

Caution: Long Picture Post

I'm so tired right now.. This past week as been crazy and fun. Where do I begin?

August 13th: My Grandpa's 80th b-day bash. A few days late. But better late then never. It wasn't till then, that I realized how HUGE my family is. It's mostly kiddies now. And watching them run around , acting innocent made me feel, semi-old.But not really. We took my cousin, Tyler, to the park, along with all my other random cousins too. Heh. My sister and I managed to get some See-Saw action while we were there. As always, us Filipinos kept it Hobbit style and had plenty of good food. The adults drank while the kids played uno, and the people in between played Mahjong. I won ALL 3 games by the way. Note to Sam and Mariel: You still owe David and me coffee Bean. Hehe.

August 18th: Woke up and had breakfast at UCSD since there is no food in my sister's apartment. If you want to starve, you should stay at her place. Afterwards, it was off to SeaWorld. I haven't been to SeaWorld in soooo long. It was like going there for the first time. It wasn't exactly a disappointment. The New Atlantis right was pretty entertaining, with its Ghetto elevator, random pictures, and fake out drops. I'll show you the actually pictures from that ride, another time. The picture on the right, is from the Cirque De Mer Aquarium. I absolutely loved the show there. Can you guess what my sister is giggling at in the picture? Other than naughty pictures, we went on the River Rapids thing and got soaked, watched the pretty dull Shamu show, enjoyed the playful dolphins, and looked at cute little penguins.

August 19th: Hit up Universal Studios . Another place I haven't been in 10 years or so. Walked through the Van Helsing thing, and almost pissed myself, then watched the Terminator 4D show. Loved it. Afterwards, it was time for Doc Brown at Back to the Future. That ride never gets old. Even went up and down on those famous escalators that take you to the Upper and Lower lots. Around lunch time, we took and break and refueled our selves with very expensive, over-priced food. But what can you do? Jurassic Park was next and I was able to sit behind people that I wished were my good-looking friends. Then it was off to Revenge of the Mummy where we only have to wait 5 minutes because the ride broke down beforehand and there was no line.Haha. There's just so many little things that we did, it really didn't' feel like we were there till 8pm. About that.. What's with Universal closing early all the time?? You'd think they'd stay open later. Anyways, we didn't catch the Fear Factor Live thing, but we did go to BackDraft and to the Special Effects Studio, which I really enjoyed because I was scared out of my wits by a crotch grinding werewolf. To wrap things up, we finished our day with the Tour Ride, King Kong, Jaws and all. We need to go back again sometime.. But maybe not in the near future. I don't' know the next time I'll be back.

Yeah, that's why I've been so tired lately. Passing out everytime we get home. In between that big gap, we just went to the beach and stuff ^, played mini-golf, as you know, and just hung out and watched Lord of the Rings. Always a good thing. Well, I've spent too much time writing this. I better let other people on the computer. I guess its back to Camarillo tomorrow.

Till then....

I'm In Denial

Change of plans, I'm not in Camarillo anymore. I thought I'd spend my last few weeks there, but spending time with my awesome cousins just seemed like the more sensible option.

Yes, it's time for that yearly entry where I complain that school is starting and how I whine about how I don't' want to go back. But then I counter my obligations with reasonable situations, like how Senior year is always the easiest year, and how I have Graduation to look forward too. Grad Night shouldn't be that bad either. See? This year can't possibly be as bad as I'm envisioning it in my head. I think I'll use this as a movtivation to get through the year.

Until that time, I'm here in Irvine, hanging out with Mariel and Ryan. We went to Boomers today and played some Mini Gulf. I suck alot of balls. I got 3rd place. Boo.
I wanted to kill this boy while we were driving Go-Karts. He kept on purposely running into people and making them stall. I hope in the future that he get hit by a car and becomes permanently handicapped. And I'll make up all of this negative thinking by helping out the elderly at the Retirement homes. Yeah...

Get Fuzzy

The days till school starts are winding down. I only have until the end of this month. I'm still in denial. Lately, I have been sleeping, quite a lot actually, and watching DVDs, all of which happen to have either Colin Firth, or Hugh Grant in them. From them alone, I'm starting to acquire their British accent. It'll come in handy someday. Or purposefully be used as a form of entertainment for my sister.

My Grandpa's 80th birthday party is this Saturday. Even though his birthday passed already, we're celebrating it a couple of weeks late due to some..... technical difficulties, for lack of better words. I'm looking forward to it though. I'm rather fond of our family get togethers, and all the drama it creates in between. Which somehow reminds me of my little cousin, Brianna. My sister and I just recently got pictures from our Aunt, as I'm sure everyone else in our family did. It was when I was looking at her nicely photographed pictures when I thought, " Damn, i feel pretty old." Okay, so not 80-ish old, or mid 20-ish old, or any number past 20. But you know what I mean....hopefully. But i also realized, i have a lot of growing up to do too, but still don't' fancy people telling me what to do. As i used to say, "You're not the boss of me!"So for now, I'm just going to enjoy being 16 .It's a nice age, until October, I guess. Anyways, I'm going back to Camarillo possibly Thursday night, or Friday, but won't officially be available till Sunday...there's no one left in Camarillo after that.

Before I forget...

I killed a squirrel driving back from Wal-mart a couple of days ago. I'm actually proud of my gruesome feat. There it was, in the middle of the road, nibbling on a fallen acorn. I slowed down at first, aligning the squirrel with the front tire. And when the timing was right, I sped up and squished the poor squirrel into a pancake, soaking it in its own strawberry syrup, oh wait, i mean blood. It's bushy tail was still intact. There's probably a family of squirrels wondering what happened to their dear father. Sooner or later, Mama squirrel is going to have to tell her babies the truth....that their dad was KILLED. It's the circle of life. Afterwards, i went home and ate dinner.

Till then......

Bonsai Kitten

I'm finally here in San Diego, with the Sis . And I'm probably going to be staying here till School starts up again. I'm not even sure when that happens.

Yesterday,Anna officially moved to Palos Verdes. I was over there helping her pack her things, or atleast tried to. With things like this, I tend to get Emo and shed some emo tears. All of which I did. It's a new found thing. I cry over the slightest things, like in Return of the King when Frodo leaves at the end of the movie . I don't like saying Goodbye. This information never leaves this blog. Or you'll end up like the Bonsai kitten.

That's why i left Camarillo on the same day. There's nothing worth doing in Camarillo alone. Plus, San Diego is a nice change of space. But another good thing is that i finally got to see my lovely cousin Mariel , who i haven't seen in forever because she has been studying like crazy. Quite understandable. We stopped by her place for dinner and got fat on chicken with bacon, mushrooms, and cream cheese. My mouth is watering right now. .. It's 12:22am.. not too late to eat now, is it?

Today, I drove us to Hillcrest for the thing my sister and I do best, Thrift shopping. It's old news, i know. But we did go swimming at 10:00 at night, with Keerthi. Hey, its a big improvement from swimming at 10:00 at night during the winter.

I'm going to beat the damn dog across my sister's apartment for howling so damn loud in the morning.

Till then...
